Take Care of
Yourself
It's the
best way
to Love
yourself
- and
them.

Dear friend,
When we truly care for ourselves, it becomes possible to care
far more profoundly
about other people.
The more alert and
sensitive we are to
our own needs, the
more loving and
generous we can be
toward others.

Viveca's Letter
Caring for
yourself is Love
Dear Friends,
How are you today?
Can you believe it
is already October?!
Beautiful and sunny
here - my office
overlooks Macrina's
garden and I've been
watching her weed,
water, clip, cut,
shape and love on it
all afternoon. It is
her passion and it
shows.
Me - I've been
digging, planting
and reshaping my
inner garden - my
health. Long story
short -- last fall I
started a journey of
recovering from
"hidden fatigues."
Thank goodness for
the help and
encouragement from
Docs, friends,
books, intuition and
my husband. I am
especially grateful
to my mother who
kept after me to
"keep going until
you feel
GREAT."
What does this have
to do with a
newsletter about
Getting Ready for
Love? Everything.
Fatigue shows up in
cranky or impatient
conversations with
Loved ones. It is
there in the bedroom
when we are "too
tired." It dines
with us as we choose
the boob tube over
talking to each
other. It shows up
at work when we Love
what we do but -- we
just can't seem to
get motivated to do
it. It's the reason
for the dog walks we
skip, the phone
calls to friends we
don't make and in
the everyday little
by little ways that
we fade back from
life, passion and
joy.
If you, or a Loved
one, isn't feeling
"GREAT" this is your
wake up call.
This issue is
dedicated to
re-energizing our
bodies and hearts.
Please feel free to
pass it on to the
people who matter
most to you and
Love on!

If you're not
feeling GREAT, why
not?
The A, B, Cs of
our "Hidden
Fatigues"
Signs &
Symptoms of Hidden
Fatigue:
Depression,
insomnia, strained
relationships (tired
of him/her),
constipation,
feelings of
confusion and
overwhelm, short
temper, lack of
motivation, head
aches, hair loss,
weight gain around
the middle,
moodiness and food
cravings &
withdrawing from
friends, family and
favorite activities
- just to name a
few!
When was the last
time you thought
about or was tested
for Adrenal Fatigue
or Borderline Anemia
or Candida or
Dehydration or Eye
Strain or -?
I've learned most
fatigues don’t show
up on our annual
physical results.
And, we let them
sneak in --
especially at this
time of the year --
because we are too
busy working or
caring for others or
getting ready for
the holidays. Take
time NOW to
notice, care
and Love your
body.
Here’s a start –
"Hidden Fatigue 101"
- The A, B, C & D
Suspects.
A - Adrenal
Fatigue –
Affects up to 80% of
the population! If
you are most tired
between 3pm – 5pm
you could be
suffering from AF.
Recommendations:
Get to sleep by
10:00 p.m. and sleep
in whenever
possible. Avoid the
afternoon slump by
taking 1000 mg of
Vitamin C + 1000 mg
of Calcium Magnesium
with a snack at 2:00
p.m.
B - Borderline
Anemia –If
you are most tired
between 11 am – 2
PM, you could have
borderline anemia.
Recommendations:
Eat LOTS of dark
green veggies –
daily - and ask your
doctor for the Serum
Ferritin Test.

Husband and wife
will each give their

to a relationship
problem.
I have never been
jealous of my wife
until now. She
recently accepted a
fantastic job in a
company in which her
peers are
predominantly men. I
am so proud of her,
but underneath I am
anguished. I have
absolutely no reason
to doubt her loyalty
to our relationship
but a sense of
suspicion is already
stirring.
Intellectually, I
know this is
ridiculous. I just
don't know what to
do to stop the
jealousy from
getting out of
control and possibly
becoming destructive
to our relationship.
How can I arrest
these feelings?

safety in numbers.
When she comes home,
